Jaws 2026

Please find attached the initial information for JAWS Activity Camp 2026 and relevant Health Forms. This is out early to support those that help parents by setting up payment plans.

Dates: Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th July 2026

Scout Cost: £74 to District (Add on own Troop Transport/Food)

Extra Leader/Support Cost: £20 Weekend to District (1 Leader free per 12 Scouts)

Young Leader Cost: £20 Weekend to District

Activity Instructors: Free to Attend

Deadline Notify Intent to Attend: 17th May 2026

Deadline Summary Forms: 14th June 2026

For those who’ve not been before, and those who have, the cost breakdown is as follows (per Scout fee):

£70 to Buddens Activities (Includes 2 Nights Camping at approx. £10/Night) inc. of VAT

£3 for Activities we Run (Archery/Shooting/Kayak)

£1 Printing Certificates/Contingency etc.

All Scouts will get a minimum of 5 Activities over the weekend (timetable allows for 6 sessions Saturday and 2 Sessions Sunday morning), of which 2 Activities will be on the water (e.g. Kayak, Rafting, Bellboating). In addition, there will be the Tug o War Competition Saturday evening and option to attend a Campfire.

Young Leaders are welcome to support either Troops or Activities – but for Activities will need to be checked and confirmed with me first. The camping fee charge applies as per above.

This year we will not be offering any central catering for district/activity/YLs. As such, any attending will need to join a troop that’s camping and be ‘adopted’ for the weekend! I am happy to link people up. Please ensure these are then added to your troop summary form.

There is a set of final information that goes out to those who confirm attendance that includes information on kit, uniform, timings etc but if you’re new to the event, I’m happy to answer questions.
